Lead Residential Painter (Interior/Exterior) 

We are seeking an experienced Lead Painter to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing the painting jobs and crew. Ideal candidates will be professional, have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and removing old paint.
• Fill holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers. 
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for topcoats. 
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. 
• Utilize brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply finishes. 
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools. 
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards are met. 
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional customer service. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as a professional painter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of painting experience. 
• Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment. 
• In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools. 
• Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

Compensation: 

• $25.00 - $35.00 an hour based on experience
